La Bastide Saint Dominique, a family estate in the Southern Rhône Valley renowned for its elegant and subtly balanced wines for over 40 years. Meticulously crafted, sustainable production of wines in Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Rhône Villages, Cairanne, Rasteau, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
Our wines
Located in the Southern Rhône Valley, between Avignon and Orange, our estate enjoys a warm and dry climate, characteristic of the Mediterranean climate. Sun and the Mistral wind impart their characteristics to the wines, combining with the terroir to give them a distinct character and a marked identity. Wines that are warm, robust, sun-kissed, yet characterized by finesse and elegance.
Châteauneuf du Pape
Our cheerful, full bodied, sunny yet fine and elegant Châteauneuf du Pape are mainly sandy soil with some of the terroir’s famous round pebbles.
Côtes du Rhône
Gourmand, fruity, delicately spiced, our Côtes du Rhône and Cotes du Rhône Villages are cultivated on North/South-facing hills in Courthézon and Orange.
Cairanne & Rasteau
Expressive, rich, complex our Cairanne and Rasteau are on red clay and alternatively small gravel soil in the South of the appellations.
Discovery at the estate and at trade shows
At the heart of La Bastide Saint Dominique, our tasting cellar can welcome you without reservations from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm to 5 pm for a tasting. Outside of these hours or for a visit, a prior appointment is imperative.
